BATON ROUGE, La. — Sonny Weems had 21 points, including five 3-pointers, and Patrick Beverley had 14 points and 15 rebounds as Arkansas beat LSU 68-52 on Saturday.
Beverley, who had a total of 20 points in the last three Razorbacks games, made four field goals, all 3-pointers. Gary Ervin had 10 points and five assists for the Razorbacks (14-5, 3-2 Southeastern Conference).
“Everybody always asks me what’s going on with Patrick,” coach John Pelphrey said. “There’s nothing wrong with Patrick. He’s not going to sneak up on anybody this year.”
The Razorbacks had lost their last two games to South Carolina and Georgia and their previous six games at LSU. [read more]
