FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas forward Sonny Weems left practice early on Wednesday because of a strained knee.

Coach John Pelphrey said he did not believe the injury is extensive enough to keep Weems from being ready for Friday’s first round NCAA Tournament game against Indiana. No. 9 seed Arkansas (22-11) and the eighth-seeded Hoosiers (25-7) will tip at approximately 8:40 p.m.

Weems, a first team all-SEC selection, could be seen limping through the visitor’s tunnel and into the training room with approximately 30 minutes remaining in the first of two Wednesday workouts. [read more]
