Gators take game 2 to even series 1-1

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Brett Eibner hit a RBI single in the bottom of the first but that was all the scoring the Arkansas Razorback baseball team could muster in the second game of its series with the Florida Gators on Saturday afternoon as the Razorbacks lost, 6-1, at McKethan Stadium.

Arkansas (18-15, 4-9 SEC) got a good pitching performance from left hander Cliff Springston who threw 8 2/3 innings of four run baseball and looked dominant after the third inning by allowing just a handful of base runners between the fourth and eighth inning. Florida (24-11, 9-5 SEC) avenges its Friday night loss to the Razorbacks with the victory. [read more]
