Raiders thrilled to get McFadden

The Oakland Raiders selected Arkansas running back Darren McFadden Saturday afternoon with the No. 4 pick in the NFL draft.

Al Davis decided he couldn’t pass up the man considered the most talented offensive player available in the draft. McFadden rushed for 4,485 yards in 37 games for Arkansas, making him the all-time leading rusher at the school.

The two-time Heisman Trophy Award runner-up will join a crowded Raiders backfield with Justin Fargas, Dominic Rhodes, Michael Bush and LaMont Jordan. [read more] [video]
