FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Senior associate athletic director Bill Gray will step down from his role in the athletic department on July 31, 2008, after 29 years of service to Razorback Athletics as a student-athlete, football coach, recruiting coordinator and athletics administrator.

“There comes a time when even the good things in life have to come to an end,” Gray said. “That is the reason that I have made the decision to move on now. I know in my heart this is the time for me to end this wonderful experience. “Working for the Razorbacks has been a privilege and an honor. To do something you really love, to meet so many wonderful people and to get to go to the bowl games and NCAA basketball tournaments has been an incredible experience.

I want to thank the Razorback fans and the athletic department staff and administration for the opportunity to be a part of the Razorbacks. I also would like to thank Ken Hatfield for giving me the opportunity to work for the Razorbacks and Coach Broyles for keeping me for so many years.” [read more]
