IRVING If Dallas Cowboys fans want to think about what rookie Felix Jones might be, just watch No. 36 in green Monday night.

There is a vision for Felix in Dallas, and it’s to become Brian Westbrook 2.0.

Philadelphia’s most important player is one of the most explosive running backs in the league. He can lead the Eagles in receiving any week just as easily as he does rushing. The newest weapon for Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett also has that electric capability and showed signs of his potential in the season-opening victory against Cleveland.

Can Felix fit the Westbrook role in Dallas?

“We hope so,” Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said. “That’s why we drafted him. We felt like he was in the mold of a versatile guy who could catch the ball out of the backfield and split him out some if you have to and run with the football. He gives you that explosiveness.
