Mistakes Doom Razorbacks In Loss to Crimson Tide

FAYETTEVILLE – Since joining the Southeastern Conference Arkansas has often used Alabama as a gauge of what to expect for the rest of the season.

This could be a rough year for the Razorbacks.

Mistakes plagued Arkansas throughout its SEC opener, resulting in a 49-14 loss to the Crimson Tide. By the time the game ended many of the 72,315 in attendance at Reynolds Razorback Stadium had left.

Arkansas (2-1) struggled in victories against Western Illinois and Louisiana-Monroe. Those games were believed to be the easiest on the schedule and the Razorbacks won by a combined five points. [read more]
