Razorbacks Stun No. 4 Oklahoma

Michael Washington scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as Arkansas upset No. 4 Oklahoma, 96-88, on Tuesday.

Washington led a group of six Razorback players in double figures as an announced crowd of 19,604 watched in Walton Arena.

Arkansas (10-1) won its seventh consecutive game in knocking off previously unbeaten Oklahoma (12-1).

Oklahoma cut a 25-point deficit to five, 84-79,with 3:33 to play. It would get no closer as the Razorbacks protected their lead with free throws.

Arkansas did much of its damage in the paint, getting 46 points inside. Oklahoma was though to have the superior inside game, but did not live up to its billing much of the night.

Sooners All-American candidate Blake Griffin fouled out with 55 seconds remaining. He finished with 21 points and 13 rebounds. He was routinely outplayed by Washington and Michael Sanchez, who finsiehd with 12 points.
