Arkansas Coach Bobby Petrino said last week that recruiting was going well but the Razorbacks needed to finish strong on the defensive side of the ball.
Arkansas took one major step toward that goal Tuesday when defensive back Rudell Crim orally committed to them.
Crim, 5-11, 195 pounds, 4.37 seconds in the 40-yard dash, of Butler Community College in Kansas is considered one of the top 10 junior college prospects in the nation by Rivals.com. He made an official visit to Arkansas on Jan. 9-11.
“When I took my visit down there, I felt like I was at home,” said Crim, who also visited Oregon and South Florida. “The atmosphere around there is just great. The coaches were also a big reason for me choosing Arkansas. It seems like one big family there.” [read more]
