The Western Illinois University Leathernecks may have seemed like punching bags to Oklahoma, but to Arkansas they sure seemed like Kansas.
Bludgeoned 17-2, 6-1, 15-4 and 21-9 by 16th-ranked Oklahoma last weekend in Norman, Okla., the now 0-5 Leathernecks took now 5-1 Arkansas to extra innings Friday at Baum Stadium just like Kansas did last Wednesday.
And like Jacob House’s 10thinning home run beating Kansas, 9-8 last Wednesday here, the Razorbacks did it again in 10, this time 8-7 on Brett Eibner’s RBI triple. [read more]
