Thirteen event wins carried the Hogs to a 195-100 victory over the Utes, giving Arkansas (6-2, 2-1 Southeastern Conference) a commanding victory in its final home meet of the season.
“I was very pleased with today’s performances,” Arkansas swimming coach Jeff Poppell said. “It has been rough around here the last few days with the winter storm and we have had to battle some adversity going into this competition. We weren’t even sure if we were going to be able to get the meet off. The girls did a fantastic job competing today and racing. I couldn’t be any more pleased with that.
“Today was probably one of our best team performances of the year, top to bottom. Improving the little things was one of the things we wanted to do going into this meet and we felt like we did a fantastic job of that.
