Skinner will be a valuable weapon this year for us, our success could hinge on his success.
I hope he doesn't strain an oblique doing his pre-punt Michael Flatley routine.
The iconic 'alien' is to us what we are to apes: small, pale, big headed, and with unfathomable technology. We even abduct them for medical experiments. Mind blown.

It's not the hashes.  The hashes are closer in college than high school which means straighter kicks.  It is the adjustment of no tee.  Repetition is the only answer, under a watchful eye, which does not happen at the U of A.  They are sent to the indoor workout area and told to kick a specified number from each yardline and hash.  Report back how you did.

They (coaching staff) reports that with NCAA limitations on staff size and limitations on hours that the team can practice hamstring them.  Maybe I'm off base here, but I would think having the kickers come in at a different time of the day than when the rest of the team is practicing, and allow them to get individual attention may be okay.  I think you could easily prove that the 5 kickers are only getting 20 hours of practice time also, even if they are not on the practice field with the rest of the team at the same time.

Todd Wright would get a sack of balls and practice on his own. He worked hard at it and it showed.
Since then kickers end up going in the stadium or Walker pavillion and play grab ass instead of kicking.
I can't belive they can't find a retired coach in nwa who could or would volunteer to coach or at least oversee the kickers.
also, do we recruit the kicking camps? When was the last time we had a kicker who was automatic or hell even 75%?

Haters gonna hate

Apparently Dale is content with the fact that we are going to lose a key game or two each year because we pay no attention to our field goal game.

Is that so hard to understand?

Just accept it and move on.

and a mediocre school in Boise

In all fairness, I think it should be pointed out that he posted a very, very respectable 4-7 record while there. 8-)

Patience guys, I'm banking on the Hogs have a actual "Kicking game cord" by next april. As far as assistant limitations, why not just call dude a "personal trainer" attached to Don Decker...kickers need training too like learning how to fricking kick the ball straight and true.

I say we start recruiting the MVP from this camp each year.

During the scrimmages in the Spring, the kickers were pretty good.  I don't remember names but there were three guys that look to be an upgrade over Balseiro.

Aren't they always good in the spring and during preseason practice ?
