I know what a Basenji is.

I was just wanting everyone to know.

He's a chortler.

The iconic 'alien' is to us what we are to apes: small, pale, big headed, and with unfathomable technology. We even abduct them for medical experiments. Mind blown.

I was in...Sang Bang...Dang Gong...I was all over the place, a lot of places. I was with the Green Berets, Special Unit Battalions... Commando Airborne Tactics...Specialist Tactics Unit Battalion. Yeah, it was real hush hush. I was Agent Orange, Special Agent Orange, that was me.

Very simple.

1983 Sidney Moncrief would shut down 2006 Joe Johnson, then drop 20 and 9 on him.

You were seven or eight. . .never mind, you are right.

does this qualify as an adolescentphace?

"Like wild canids, Basenjis don't bark. They will, however, give the occasional single "woof." They also chortle, whine, squeal, and make a Basenji-specific noise called a yodel or a baroo."

Basenji

"Baroo." That is awesome.

Might need to incorporate that in the Woopig lexicon as well.

Granted, Joe has only played five years to Moncrief's 11, but he needs to be an all star every year for the next six years to at least sniff Moncrief.

Gross.

Johnson didn't always put forth his best effort in college either.

I'm just a dark guy from a den of iniquity.

Don't go away mad.  Just go away.

I just wanted to put that picture of Samuel L. Jackson up.

I watched a snail crawl along the edge of a straight razor. That's my dream; that's my nightmare. Crawling, slithering, along the edge of a straight razor... and surviving.

I didn't notice a lot of recruits saying that they had to come to Arkansas to play with Ronnie Brewer.

Actually, Patrick Beverly said one of the main reasons he came to UA was to play with Brewer.  He said he was  :stunned: when Brewer announced for the NBA.

1978 wasn't our first final four.

And you need to read this.

http://www.nba.com/history/players/moncrief_bio.html

Your hero, Michael Jordan, is quoted prominently in that article.  I also like this:  "...also named to the All-NBA First Team, joining Larry Bird, Julius Erving, Moses Malone and Magic."  Pretty good company.

And see up there where it says "Two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year, Four-time All-NBA First Team, Five-time NBA All-Defensive Team, Five-time All-Star"?

Joe Johnson's bio says "Named NBA All-Rookie Second Team, Finished ninth in voting for the 2003-04 NBA Most Improved Player Award."

Granted, Joe has only played five years to Moncrief's 11, but he needs to be an all star every year for the next six years to at least sniff Moncrief.
I wouldn't even count any final four that we made before the trip in 1978. The last time we made the final four before 78 there was only something like 8 teams in the entire tournament so I don't know how you can count that. I also knew that 78 technically wasn't the first final four. You aren't impressing anybody with that knowledge.

As if there were any doubts, Joe has "officially" made the 12 man team, it was announced just a few minutes ago

Well, so am I! I mean, look at me, all right, what I'm wearing. I mean, I'm playing for Rio Grande Short-Haul Trucking, Briggs and Brown Sanitation, First State Bank of Salome, Woody's Smokehouse... You think a... you think a guy like me bothers to worry about the percentages?
