Unbelievable.

"The championship golf course is maintained in pristine condition, enabling golfers to experience playing in a wide variety of garden settings, incorporating garden ornaments into play as tee markers and ball washers, and benches set into hedges; the gaming hole, set beside the sports betting area, is a colorful expanse of flower beds and a challenge for both golfers and punters, if the golfer agrees to participate on the hole, bets are taken on the probable landing area of the drive."

Does this mean they might start taking sports bets now?

Doubtful.

... if the golfer agrees to participate on the hole, bets are taken on the probable landing area of the drive.

I believe the "sports betting area" refers to the above scenario.

I took it as "the gaming hole, set beside the sports betting area".  But...I guess that is just wishful thinking on my part.  I never understood why Vegas can take sports wagers and Atlantic City of Tunica can not.  Maybe the mob and the local Southern bookies have lobbyist too.   8-)

They have been talking about this for some time around here. Hopefully, it works out.

You can buy Myriad for .29 a share right now, might not be a bad investment at that price.

I'd hate to be the guy who has to Windex that glass dome over the golf course.  Also, their hail insurance is gonna be high.  ;D

It's not glass.

It's an air supported roof, therefore we have to assume it will be transparent plastic like material.

No, the latest in nano polyfiber technology, it's bullet proof.

Why the frick would they build this thing? They could just build a big ass virtual holographic golf course with virtual sport side betting areas, with virtual rent-a-hookers as golf caddies...that' would be marvelous.

They tried to do this a few years ago in Naples and scrapped it because of the price.

Appropriate, in this case.
