What is the worst loss in OU history?

They lost to Nebraska 73-21 in 1996, then turned around and lost to them again, 69-7, in 1997.

Oklahoma also had the following losses during the 1996 and 1997 seasons:

52-24 to Kansas in 1996
51-31 to San Diego State in 1996
51-7 to Texas A&M in 1997

Crap, now I'm almost hoping for the Cotton bowl so we can get in on this OU gang bang.

I'd take Cotton over a Florida bowl every year, including the Orange, for obvious reasons.

True.  Forgot about that next year.  That was when Blake really had the ball rolling.

Conspicuous absence of tweets regarding Bedlam on the part of Skip Bayless.   :hmmm:

Prior to the 1990s, their worst loss had been 59-21 to Kansas State in 1969.

Plus, as bad as our record is against Texas, OSU came into this game with a record of 17-81-7 against OU.

Meanwhile, the Big 10 Championship has been a helluva game.

I'm not happy about State Farm stealing the theme song from Cheers. Sam, Norm, Cliff and the gang deserve better.

What do championship programs do after beating lower ranked teams at home?  They don't rush the damned field and tear down goalposts.  Polished turds and whatnot.

Considering how bad the Colts are this year, this is easily the best game in 2011 that's been played at Lucas Oil Stadium.

He just let out a Howard Dean-esque shriek on that long pass by Wisconsin.

I'm thinking there's no downside to a Gus Johnson called game. The man is vastly underrated by the more sports centered networks.

EDIT: I take that back. The only down side to Gus is that he belongs in collegiate broadcasts. I don't see him bringing the same energy to his pro games, but man he really amplifies the collegiate excitement.

OU ain't going to the Cotton Bowl, K-State and Baylor are in front of them.  They are more than likely headed to the Alamo Bowl.  We're most likely going to get K-State...meh

I try not to think what March Madness will be without him. Damn you CBS.

I would watch any sport Gus calls. World Series of Poker included.
