3 run 5th for Detroit and he's off the hook.

Not bad.

I spot started him in the woopig league today. Wish he could've gone a little deeper, but I'll take those numbers every day.
I really hope Hillary can run in 2016 and wins

Phillies placed LHP Cliff Lee on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to April 19, with a left oblique strain.

Drew Smyly is the 1st Tigers pitcher ever to start his first 3 career games and allow 1 run or fewer in each of them.

Yeah, posted in the MLB thread, but he looked pretty awesome yesterday.  He really only had a couple of bad pitches.  The Rangers analyst in the booth, Tom Grieve, was very impressed by him.  I was, too, of course.

Craig Gentry just hit his first ever over-the-fence major league home run tonight in Toronto. He had an inside-the-parker last year, but this was his first time to clear the fences. To make it even better, the pitcher he hit it off of went to Auburn.

He's right at .300 and hitting .400 over his last 9 games.  The Rangers love him.

Josh being hurt means more PT for Gentry and he's making good use of it.

And Eric Hinske was 4-4 last night. He hasn't been getting much playing time, hopefully it will pick up.

He filled in for Heyward, yes?  So I doubt he will be getting much time in right when he's healthy.  Who do they have in left?

You're right, he filled in for Heyward. They have Prado in left. Hinske can also play first base (Freeman).

Nick Schmidt pitches 5.2 scoreless at the Dick last night and nary a word from anyone about it?

Yeah the paper made NO mention of his Razorback connection.  Of course the Drillers lost also.  If he's still there in June the Drillers play a 4 game series at the Dick where one would assume he would get another start.
