Add the fact that he's now only had 3 strikeouts in 15 AB, and I'd say the transition is going fairly well.
When did being on pace for over 100 strikeouts a season become a success?
No.
Let's not act like 15 AB's is any indicator of anything. The interesting part of his development here will be after the book is out on him after a while. Pitchers will learn how to pitch to him and he will have to adjust.
Geez, man. Are you like this off the boards as well?
yes.
58 players in the AL stuck out more than that last year.
That is my point... Basically half the starting players in the league strike out over 100 times in a full season, so why would that be a successful statistic?
Because you can stay in the league and make millions of dollars?
Resonance...metal folding chairs or hard tile floors cannot be beaten when it comes to firing off a loud fart.
or make a pet rock.
I guess because most of those guys have seen more than 15 major league at bats. But, I do see your point that that is not spectacular. But, its not a bad start at all.
3-3. Now up to .500 on the season
My point is that he has a lot more positives that someone could point out. I dont even understand how that stat was a compliment.
