GS and OKC getting heated.

Okc players and fans coming across as butt-hurt.

Shit you not.  The ASG is in town this weekend, along with all the wannabes that seem to always tag along for these events.  There is a line of about 300 people, some waiting since 5am, for the privilege to pay $500 for special 2017 Air Jordan sneakers.  It's a gorgeous day and these fucks have spent it standing in line.  To pay $500.  For shoes.

Dunk contest has gotten so boring.  Glenn Robinson III def saved his best for last though.  Won the final round going away.

I guess I'll be that guy but this all-star game is only entertaining if you like watching tall black men jogging up and down the court and dunking uncontested and the occasional W T F shot.

All Star games in general are pretty awful.  The NBA and NFL versions are unwatchable for me.  MLB gets it right for the most part.

Great trade if true.  Evans was a ball hog and the rest are spare parts.  Cousins/Davis front court is sexy.

a lot of sportswriters killing the kings but i think it's a good move. Booge is a total basket case.

None of those guys are worth writing home about, so it's a wash, unless Hield turns out to be good.

Cousins is a 20/10 guy.  So was Tim Duncan.  Which guy would you ever want on any team you were on, from pee-wee up to NBA?  I'd be surprised if even 1 guy in the NBA would answer Cousins, and that's because he's what he always has been.  A stat guy.

Some teams have figured out that to win championships (see GS), you have to have team players.  Most teams haven't and are still enamored with the "superstar".

Stephen A Smith went off the reservation on third as well. Hard to believe I know.

Thing is, Magic might be fantastic in the GM role. The point is, there is no evidence to say he will.

Was Jerry West qualified for front office work when he was hired?

Edit: looks like to me Magic's resume isn't far off and arguably may be better. These are different times but I can't imagine him being bad at his job.

Magic certainly had issues as a coach - he didn't seem to like the young player who he seemed to think was entitled and unfocused.
Being a GM is a whole lot different than being their coach though.

Portis is finally starting to get some minutes this season. Has had a couple of good double digit games. Scored 19 over Boston the other night. The bulls traded taj Gibson and bobby got a start last night in an OT win over the suns. Scored 9 and 7 boards.

Portis leading all scorers with 14 points, 6 rebounds at the half. Ass indeed.
