hate to break this to you, but he's white

All the more reason why his work as a color guy is so impressive.

I can't confirm or deny this story.

But having Nabes home would be fanfuckintastic.

His outlook on everything is just awesome. And he can coach. He doesn't get mad. Health issues in the past changed his demeanor. And his players feed off that and absolutely love him.

Washington's loss is our huge gain. The money has to be very good to help get past some bad feelings over some recent hires/moves.

The Seattle Times says he has a $1 million buyout, so maybe the UA is finally serious about having a winning women's team.

Since you can't confirm or deny, can you at least give us a maybe?

Neighbors had a salary of about $290,000 per year at Washington.  I'm assuming he'll be making quite a bit more at the UA.

Well I hope so.  If they are going to be wearing "Razorbacks" on their jersey, I want them to do well whether I go to any games or not.  Jimmy was/is a solid broadcaster and seems a good guy and obviously knows basketball but that hire smacked of PR move from day 1 rather than a serious attempt to build with a good, established coach.  Even if it wasn't, it was time to make a change.

I think hiring Dykes was more of a PR move to try to instill some interest in the program and then hope he could figure out how to be a head coach.  Obviously it didn't work out, which is why Long pulled the plug so quickly.

Dykes's total compensation was around $450,000 per year, so Neighbors should be making considerably more than that considering his track record as a head coach far exceeds Dykes's pre-hiring credentials.

Most-recent information I could find quickly was a 2015 article that says his base salary is $700,000 per year through 2021.  He could also earn up to an additional $200,000 per season in athletic and academic achievement incentives.  He also gets bonuses for this 600th, 700th, and 800th wins at Arkansas.

I wonder if Neighbors has any chance with Christen Williams?  Unsurprisingly, the Razorbacks aren't in her top five right now.

Jimmy was hired around the same time Bert got his $18M buyout package, right?

Davenport spoke with her today and she said she's leaving the state to play basketball, hard to blame a girl for not wanting to play at Uconn
