Today I took my oldest to her first day of Kindergarten.  Lots of smiles and hi fives.  She's gonna kick ass.

Youngest moves up classes as well.

Today, my kid starts his career at Fort Smith Southside on the Mavericks golf team.  They have their first match this afternoon.  He started 10th grade yesterday.  Proud Papa here!

Took my 13 year old to a motorcycle track/park over in Oklahoma yesterday.  We had a blast.  We had the whole place to ourselves.  They have MX tracks and woods trails.  They have rentals.  Don't know of any other place that will rent a bike.  Also, I can still do a wheelie!

I didn't witness this sadly, but Wife was giving the 1 1/2 year old a bath. Daughter purses lips to get my wife to come in for a kiss, smacks her in the face with wet wash cloth instead, the child is definitely mine.

My oldest at Camp Ozark.  It was his first year and I wish I'd sent him there years ago, it's just a wonderful place and he had the time of his life.  He and his little brother are going back next year.

BTW, this one is going into 7th and wears a 10 1/2 and is 5'9".  He's going to tower over me by the end of high school.

I guess daughters show their dad's side during bath time.  Last night mine whispered during a bath for my wife to come over and then followed with a "shhhh".  The 2 1/2 year old then proceeded with a nice bath time fart bubble and hysterical laughing.  I was then yelled at by the wife for not setting a great example but deep down I was so proud.  Water farts are the greatest.

Last week my 3 year old rode his bike without training wheels, and within the week since he's all over the place.

Not really a big deal, but I wanted to post for some of the parents of youngsters.  Take the training wheels off now.  I wish I had done it for both of my kids from the beginning.  I realize now they make balance bikes for teaching them, but I had already bought 2 bikes and wasn't buying another.  So last week I had an idea.  I took off the training wheels, the pedals, the sprocket, the chain, and lowered the seat as low as it would go.  For the next week he was zooming around with his feet for propulsion.  Every once in a while he'd hit a small downhill and coast and drag his feet.  Make sure you put them in some old beater shoes.  That turned into him lifting his feet off the ground for a bit on the downhills, then even longer the next day, and longer the next.  After about 10 days of doing that everyday, I put the bike back together, raised the seat, and off he went.

My neighbors think I'm a genious, but I feel like the dumbass that's been holding them back for putting training wheels on in the first place.
