After that 56-3 beatdown by Auburn Saturday he will be known only as Bert until he wins an SEC title.  That is the only way he gets back in teh good graces enough to be called by the name his momma gave him.

This will be a big difference for aggy.   Hubenek will get comfortable at QB this week and they'll be ready to go for Arkansas.

or he will remind everyone why he wasn't already the starter.

Remember all the talk about the difference between BA and AA's demeanor? Seems BA may have been more business in the front and AA is more of a party at the back kind of guy. It may be nothing but I didn't see one player out there trying to encourage one another last week.

SimUlarly, we freakin get our fudge packed by Auburn last year, then turn around and beat a pretty damn good Florida team by 21.  Very few, if any, thought we'd beat Florida last year and especially after the Auburn debacle.

We've been here before.  I remember sucking it up the first 4 games in 2001, then resorting to playing a non-thrower at QB and coming within 1 quarter of winning the division.

I remember in 2000, losing 4 in a row culminating with a 35-0 1Q blowout at TN and having no hope, then somehow beating 2 Top 25 teams to end the year.

This coach is very, very similar.  I don't think he's lost the team.  I just think you never really know what to expect.  It's enough to give you a little hope week to week.  You just already know what the end of season record will be.

Sumlin is going to be out to prove a point.  Aggies win by at least 20
Sumlin will earn to points in Aggie fans minds for beating us. He always does that. Losing to us on the other hand.......

Sumlin's players will be playing to prove a point after that letter.  It will be magic bulletin board elixir.

I would suggest someone writing a similar letter to Bret, but what can you call him.  "Fat Fuck"?  That sums up our OLine.  86 that idea.

Nothing would surprise me, but I think he lost the team early last season.

AA cut his hair off, he's ready to get down to bidness. It's time for this program to shit or get off the pot, Hogs rebound with a good win over Aggie....finally!

No, it will be ugly. If A&M does to us what they did against UCLA for he first 3 quarters and keeping their foot on the gas, it could be 30+ beatdown.

Then again, they were 14-14 vs Nicholls St with 8min left last week.

And that's when they put the senior in at QB and they looked completely different thereafter.

Hubenak sucks.  If he's the best they can do at QB, we at least have a shot at beating them.

Hubenak came into the game with 4:25 left in the 3rd and the Aggies leading 14-6.

Plus, if Nicholls scored 14 on them, surely the Hogs can score at least that many (assuming 1 made and 1 missed 2-pt conversion).

That's pretty optimistic thinking we can get 2 yards on the goaline at a 50% clip.

What if TCU is actually good?

Would a bounce-back win over A&M quiet anyone down?   Or would that only last until the next loss?

if tcu ends up in the playoff...or a new year's 6 bowl by virtue of finishing 2nd in the big12 (and losing twice to Oklahoma), and we end up 6-6 or 7-5.  i'm still done with bert.  no margin of victory over a&m this weekend does anything to change my mind.  a&m had to pull one out of the 4th quarter against Nichols state.

as has been said before, we've seen this up and down good, bad, good bad shit before.  i'm back to where i started the day bert was hired.  bert = nutt v2.0 without all the off field bullshit.  although bert has a strike in that column now with the locker room throw the kicker under the bus and crawfish in the presser 4 days later bullshit.
After that 56-3 beatdown by Auburn Saturday he will be known only as Bert until he wins an SEC title.  That is the only way he gets back in teh good graces enough to be called by the name his momma gave him.
