Already happening, at least with Gunnell.

I've known Gunnell well for years, since he was about 4th grade or so.  What an athlete - I still think he might be better in basketball than football.  His father makes Lavar Ball seem like Mr. Rogers.  A complete dickhead.

Pretty sure Bo said something on his show about some of his staff coming with him. OL and DC are 2 that I thought I heard. Maybe recruiting coordinator also.

OL fine

DC...would be disconcerting

I’m hoping he was only pondering who he might bring. I was a bit distracted driving so I wish someone else could confirm?

I heard Bo say that he has a DC "lined up" and we're waiting on the announcement.

He also strongly believes it is not Venables.

Imagine the Auburn meltdown if we stole Kevin Steele.

Those fans know the reason they were a game away from the playoffs and it wasn't Gus' genius playcalling.

Two other analytic guys that buck normal coaching decisions?

Bill Belichek and Chip Kelly.
Kelley is thought of pretty highly by some of the top analytics guys.

Getting Venables would be a coup, and not likely to happen.

If we do, my cock will grow three sizes that day.

“How the Hogs Stole Venables”

Brent signed on the dotted line and some say,
Hog of War’s cock grew three sizes that day.

The yokels in Hogville posted bullshit even more
And woopiggers waited to see what Morris had in store.

Bert still ate catfish with fist after fist,
And eventually joined CBS as the new Verne Lundquist.”

Happy fuckin holidays.

Bo said he thinks it will be Chavis or Todd Graham.

Explain.

They don't call him Big Game Chavis for nothing. Ask your friends in Red Stick and Tennesse fans how much they miss him.

Has Graham ever had a defense in the top 30? What in the fuck is this nonsense?

Chavis twenty years ago, even ten years ago would be awesome.

But he didn't do anything worthy of his stupidly high salary at A&M. He's also not much of a recruiter.

Seems like exactly the kind of hire we'd make; an over the hill coach that looks good in name only.

Graham I can't even imagine taking the gig. He was just a head coach that by all accounts shouldn't have been fired, and he was previously Morris' boss. That'd be weird. Not to mention he wasn't anything special as a co-DC at West Virginia.
I am not claiming I am right, I am saying I don't get it.

You can't throw Venables name out there and then offer these two consolation prizes. Go get Pelini or Leavitt.

He didn’t get it done at A&M, but he was awesome in Tennessee, and kicked ass for the first several years at LSU.
This next post was made by a real dumbass.

Leavitt is Oregon. Locked in already.

Pelini is a class-A, grade-A, capital-A A-hole.

get him!

Yeah, and as for recruiting, he can just show recruits a list of all the players he sent to the NFL.  I would love to see what he could do with Agim.
