2017-18 Bowl Thread
« on: December 16, 2017, 03:43:00 PM »
NC A&T barely beat Grambling State despite being 9.5 point favorites. Troy is killing North Texas. Boise State beating Oregon 17-0. I think some of these well-known programs are gonna get their asses whooped in some of these crappy bowls that they don't even want to be in.

This is going to be a great 4 years and possibly 8.  The amount of butthurt from the left is already at glorious levels.

Scoop-n-score plus a 100 yd pick 6 in the last 30 seconds of the first half has the Dukes only 10 points down.

Just turned it on. Somebody left the Sharpie box open again.  Good damn thing this game isn't on the smurf turf or I might have an aneurysm.

I believe this is where I make the obligatory yearly post that the FCS playoff games are more interesting than the crappy FBS bowl games.

Does this mean you're now pledging your allegiance to Alabama A&T football and only following the A-State basketball program from here on out?

If you think you're above failure, you'll always be beneath success.

Anybody else watch the Troy game, and every time Damion Willis caught a pass you said, "Whatchu talkin' 'bout, Willis?"

I almost got kicked out of my house Saturday.

Oh it's posh.  Just a sad attempt at pronunciation humor.

How was that not targeting?

Maybe because he hit him in the shoulder pads. Wish more replay officials would actually follow the "letter of the law" instead of just assuming since their head moved they were hit in the "head or neck region".

That said is was an absolutely stupid ass penalty. The guy took what three steps without the ball before the idiot decided it was a good thing to try and hit him.

If that is not targeting, the officials need to be reviewed.

That defensive player should be removed from the game and I would like to see his scholarship removed.

That is terrible.

I haven't seen Terry Bowden in a while.  I'd say he's put on a little holiday weight.
