Bacon wrapped filets marinating in some Dale's, bacon wrapped corn with cayenne pepper and butter wrapped in foil ready for the smoker. A fifth of Bullet and a six pack of coke to fade day into night.

Merry Christmas woopig!

You assholes need to start posting some pictures.

Merry Christmas from Mom and I.  :dude1:

Not you.  We've all seen that already.

I drove to Little Rock from Minneapolis yesterday because I’m an idiot. I arrived around 2 a.m. Between Alma and I think Clarksville there’s a big illuminated cross suspended above I40. At 12:30 a.m. in the fog when you’ve been driving for about 11 hours, it looks like it’s just floating in mid-air. Surreal.  I briefly thought I was asleep at the wheel dreaming.

Anybody know the story behind it?

Between Alma and Ozark. Charleston not on I 40. South of Ozark. The cross belongs to a man named Crockett. He put the cross on his land because he wanted to.

It’s not actually suspended. It’s on the ground. In the dark it looks suspended.

I’m sure the fog (and the fact that I was really tired) contributed to its looking suspended.

Slow your roll. I'm sure he wasn't inviting conflict for some perceived slight. Happy Holidays to you and your's.

WTF are you talking about, he obviously put it there to distract sleepy late night drivers and have them drive into the mountain to meet Jesus.

It's a cool visual when I see it all lit up.

Definitely. It was also a little unsettling. It appeared to be defying the laws of physics and made me wonder if I was asleep at the wheel. I want to see it again in daylight.

The guy definitely put in some work. He cut a lane all the way up that hill so it wouldn't be blocked.

I’m late to the party. My oldest daughter had a car wreck on 12/17.  Broke three vertebrae.  We spent 5 days at Children’s Hospital.

They fused T9-F2 with two rods and a shit load of screws. The Dr. and his staff were awesome.   He asked me about her sports.  I told him she is an all state golfer.  He said to wait until June before she starts hitting the driver again.  I was floored.  I figured her golf career was over.  I was just thankful she was alive.  He went on to explain that my daughter received a very similar surgery to the one Stacy Lewis had. It’s amazing what modern medicine can do.

Anyways.  She’s up and walking and doing great.

Merry Christmas and go fuck yourselves Woopig.
