I had no idea IBM was drafted.

The WR depth chart may end up looking a lot different than everyone thinks it will. Of course Bell is kicking ass at DE. Fucking Bert.

I don’t know how many games we’ll win next season, but I am optimistic that this coach knows how to utilize talent that we do have.

For some reason, Isaiah Butch Morris was one of my favorites Razorbacks.

Didn’t remember that either. 37th to the Miami Heat.

Back when I collected sports cards like bball and fball, my uncle gave me the whole 92 draft set.  I'm looking at it right now.  May not be worth anything, but I think it's cool.

Butch is a good guy and his son is a good kid. I thought he ended up going to a smaller school to play ball after HS but I guess he is walking on now? Happy for him.

Warren catching TDs with the 1's in the first scrimmage.

Didn't take Morris long to figure out what everyone else already knew - that kid can play.

Morris is making the point that everyone is at square 1. Walkon dudes getting some run in the spring is like a long held tradition. In so many words I think he’s also saying they cannot totally trust the evals from the prior staff, but also more or less said in blunt terms that TJ Hammonds may be the shit but he won’t see the field if he can’t learn pass protections. Same with the other backs. I think he made a point to nip that in the bud. This staff is playing with house money. Very few players if any our lap dogs that have been promised the moon.

I think Bell and Ramsey could be very good pass rushers in this new scheme but it’s very early to get excited about it.

the previous staff said the same thing about hammonds when a lot of posters were wondering why he didn't get more touches. gotta hope he gets the message.

Wingo was too scared to run up the middle, but we still found ways to get him the ball in space.  You don't put a good talent on the sidelines because of one weakness.  Was he the fastest hotdog-fetcher on the sidelines or something for the last staff?

All he did was return a KO for a TD against the team that beat the two teams that played for a NC, but we never gave him the ball... So frustrating.

It's predictable to hear Morris complain about how poorly conditioned we are.
Where has Austin Capps gone to?

Hurt. I think he had minor knee surgery.

Morris talked about injuries among other things. Defensive linemen Austin Capps and Briston Guidry were a pair of players Morris said weren't ready to go full-time action at this time.

https://247sports.com/college/arkansas/Article/Arkansas-Razorbacks-Spring-Football-Preview-Notebook-Chad-Morris-meets-with-media-115676957

Here it is.
https://www.seccountry.com/arkansas/arkansas-spring-practice-chad-morris-2018

Smith is started out in the first group of four linemen at defensive tackle. He spent last season as an end in a 3-4 defense. Either he or Marshall is likely to get bumped back in the rotation once Austin Capps is healthy. He’s currently out after having a recently surgery, but Morris said the injury is not serious and he is expected to be back soon.

I have zero inside information (normally), but was told this story recently by a friend-of-a-friend I randomly hung out with (and would absolutely know):

On the first day of winter conditioning, several players stepped out for a break during conditioning drills. After being asked "wtf are you doing," the players explained they were catching their breath and would jump back in when they were ready. Apparently this was standard practice under Bert. They got tired, they took a break. No questions asked.

The next day, Morris uses one of his eval days and the first time a couple players stepped out for a breather, he indicated in no uncertain terms that these drills were optional in name only and scholarships were on the line.

Everyone stepped back in and completed the conditioning.

Uh-huh. Coach Morris becoming a meanie like Peteino.

Football is not fun anymore for these kids.

Also, I want to give away my SM-N950U for free.  Please message me for details.  If I don't answer within ~2 hours, please message me every hour or so until I respond.

When it's not fun for them it's usually very fun for us.

I am not claiming I am right, I am saying I don't get it.

How many years and millions did we waste on this fat fuck again? Do you think other SEC schools let their players have fun in conditioning drills?

I'm sure Saban is a barrel of laughs during conditioning drills
