Why pay for tapatalk or even use it?

Quit rehashing old debates.  You're wasting bandwidth.

Can someone tell me why I all of a sudden started subscribing automatically to any topic I post in?  RIP my email inbox.

Because you don't know what you're doing?

Go to your "subscribed" settings and unsubscribe from the topics.

Then go to the main tapatalk page, click on your profile button on the right, scroll to settings, click on "auto follow", and turn off the features you don't want (posted a new topic, posted a new reply, liked a post, add my posts to notification)

Thanks.  I turned all that shit off when I first installed Tapatalk a couple of years back but when I went in it was all checked again.  This just started happening about 2 weeks ago, so I wonder if an app update changed my settings.  Thanks for the help Ginger Ninja.

I’ve been setting up pfblockerng in my pfsense router to block ads and all kinds of shit. It’s cutting out the Tapatalk ads which gives me great joy.

This is akin to using a piHole without having to have a separate device. It does take up a lot of memory on my router and will ding performance a bit but not bad.
