He always is one, so it’s fitting.

And if this dickbag doesn’t quit saying “get on top of the ball,” I’m going through the screen.   That used to mean you’d hit grounders and line drives.

Harper is a winner and a great player.  He would have catch a foul ball in a championship game.

...and then run into the dugout wall and gave himself a concussion and missed twelve games.

maybe so, but those last 9 he reeled off to get to 18 was incredible. damn.

buster onley was so lost during the post-event interview, it was bad and he seemed he had no idea what to ask despite having a producer in his ear. That said, he is an info guy not a sideline reporter/interviewer.

All-star game has been entertaining.
Really enjoying listening to Charlie Blackmon who is mic’d up in CF.
Hader got lit UP!
Joey Votto pulled a Razorback in the top of the 8th, literally.

The pre-game with the Medal of Honor winners and the anthem was fantastic.

Mark my words.....Hader was overexposed in the first half of the season.  All he throws is straight gas with little movement.  Those big league hitters started catching up to him and taking him deep right before the break and the AS game was more of the same.  The whole twatter thing won't help his Nuke Laloosh head, either.

Hey woopig knowerabouters, my sonnyboy and I were thinking of taking in a Rangers gane at Globe Life Park tonight. The A's are in town. Be that as it may, I used to go there a lot back in the day and enjoyed going to the Fridays Frontrow restaurant that overlooked right field. I've done extensive internet searches and cannot find any indication that ANYTHING exists in that space now.

So question is, anyone know if anything occupies that spot anymore?

Cole Hamels to the Cubs.  He hasn’t been great this year but much better away from Arlington, so hopefully Cubs can squeeze one more run out of him.

Cards going in dry on the Cubs early.  Ozuna just hit a grand slam to make it 5-0 with no outs in the bottom of the first.  Quintana at 26 pitches.

Yikes.

And yet the Cards didn’t score again.  What a strange game.

Wow. Never would’ve thought that.

Side note, Ross and Sutcliffe are really good in the booth.

They were talking about this on the radio today and it basically comes down to him being an unrestricted FA at the end of the year.  You can trade him now and get something for him instead of risk losing him for nothing.  The Nats can then try to sign him again after the season.  The guys on the radio used Chapman from the Yankees to the Cubs and then the Yankees resigning him after the WS.

Blaine Knight made his pro debut last night in A ball at Aberdeen. He gave up 5 hits and 1 run in 1.1 innings pitched. The Ironbirds won 8-3 with Knight getting a no decision.

barry bonds #25 retirement ceremony in san francisco, he looks like he dropped about 30 pounds and his head shrunk a full hat size.  stopping the roids and hgh will do that to a man.

Apparently Maddon blew up on Arod in a pregame meeting

"You're hurt son? Shit just because my dick hurts doesn't mean I quit fucking."
