Okay Smart Woopig Peeps...I have a cabin in the woods. For the last several years, I've had Dish Network. I turn it on in mid to late September so I can watch games when we're down at the cabin hunting. It used to be $50 a month for the sports package. Now, it's almost $100 and that's too frickin expensive for MAYBE 6 days of use over the span of October to December.
Are there any other solutions to getting TV at my cabin for select games? For instance, we'll be down there for the opening of deer archery season on Sept 27th through 29th and would want to subject ourselves to the Hogs vs. Aggies game at 11 AM. We have electricity there (obviously) but only through a generator. We have a very very weak cell signal so getting it on say WatchESPN wouldn't work well at all really. Is there any type of a la carte way to get ONLY the channels you need?
I'll hang up and listen.
