Nope. I just said that IF IT’S TRUE that Pittman couldn’t sell Criswell to come to Arkansas, that would be a failure.

How would that be a failure? It would be a letdown, but in no way a failure because you couldnt flip a kid that has committed to another school.

Good question.  Even if true, I can't conclude this would be a failure for Pittman.  Who knows what goes through these kid's heads when making these decisions?  I'd rather judge Pittman's overall success on his record here as head coach.

Agree, but one of the selling points on Pittman was his ability to recruit. My  only concern is it should be easy to flip an Arkansas kid to the Razorbacks. I expect Pittman to do it.

Can you blame a kid for going to the place he’s planned on going to? Arkansas under new management may be able to sway him and may not. If he waits till Feb to sign that would indicate that he’s mulling it over.

Well...no and why would it coming off 4-8, 2-10, and 2-10. That will inspire many kids to not come here. I’m guessing the prior staff didn’t recruit him very hard, his relationships and decision during this process are with UNC in mind...to turn back from that is not an easy decision. ESP not knowing what offense will be ran here.

We saw Ty Storey be serviceable once removed from Aggie Trash and the SMU crew. I'm not going to judge or blame Starkle, he's probably a lot better than he showed if he only had proper coaching.

Because that has nothing to do with criswell.

He wasn’t even offered by the prior staff so he built a relationship with UNC and committed and Pittman had one visit to try to flip him and the kid probably already made up his mind.

Come back next year when Pittman has a full recruiting cycle and if he is whiffing on a lot of in state players then you can start this.

both criswell and haynes king, the kid committed to a&m, had strong interest in arkansas. word leaked out early that morris's kid had committed and that was enough for both to look elsewhere.
