So, which player or players will Woopig be signing to endorsement deals?

I suggest reaching out to Sasha Goforth first . . .

I don't understand that last part-- doesn't the school have some paid position now in the AD trying to help coordinate these deals?

i think it means that employees can't steer a player to a sponsor. the position you mentioned, i believe, is just an administrative compliance spot.

What about steering a sponsor toward a player, especially a recruit, or someone in the portal?  I am sure that will never happen.   :sarcasm:

I guess media companies like Clay Travis's will be allowed to have a paid contact on each team?

I don't think Boost Mobile is what HRW had in mind with this post.

Sooo, thinking outside the box, could some of the female players make money off their likeness…

I've seen a lot of references today on Twitter to returning Reggie Bush's Heisman Trophy.

That's pretty friggin' wholesome.  Love it.

Good for him.

Starting to think this will be an advantage to us with Arkansas being a one school state with nearly universal support.

How many of these geniuses will pay estimated taxes or will just spend the cash and have nothing left to pay?

Why would the majority have to pay estimated taxes?

you keep bringing that up, what the fuck is it to you?  these guys have probably held jobs before, they can have agents, and it's going thru school compliance so i'm sure they are aware that there are taxes to be paid.

plenty of non-athletes don't pay their taxes.

I assumed the vast majority will be W2 employees and their taxes will be handled just like every other employee in this country.  Which means none of them will make enough to ever have to pay estimated taxes.  I suppose some could be independent contractors and 1099'd. Either way, I would be shocked if the schools are not helping educate on the topic of taxes.

Yes, the department and at some schools they have a person who just deals with football only.

What is the cut for the school and the vendor the school is tied with to connect these deals?

She’ll make plenty of money being an instahoe after her college days are gone.

That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar when his parents asked him to babysit.

She doesn't need sponsorships to make millions, just an OnlyFans page.

Funny, I assume that the vast majority will not be W2 employees.  I think they will be independent contractors.  These companies aren't going to want to have to furnish benefits to them also.

And hopefully the schools will help educate them on taxes. I know I knew nothing about quarterly tax payments till well after college.
