Yeah but I like that Morris Bart guy because some of his billboards say "Y'all".  He is just a country guy like us!

The entire state of Louisiana is very much this way and I've never understood it, why it's so much different than Arkansas in that regard.
It’s that Napoleonic Code bullshit.

Alabama has some fucked up tort laws.  I would never do business in Alabama.  You’ll get fucked.

Morris Bart has billboards across the whole damn state.  Crazy.

In Alexandria I'd bet he has 20% of the billboards in the entire town.

Stuck with Shreveport television stations in Texarkana, we are forced to see countless numbers of ads from Louisiana plaintiff's lawyers.  If you think there are a lot of such ads on LR stations, well, double it, and you might be getting close to Shreveport.

Some of those lawyers are now signing NIL deals with LSU football players.   Some of them are showing up on tv and print ads.  Actually kind of sickening to me.

Wish the Waltons had an ounce of pride for Arkansas or razorback athletics. We'd have fewer nil concerns.

Chris Turnage is an agent who represents several NFL players.

He has a spot every week on DTS.

They'd be offering $10 mil to make us the first team with a transgender disabled QB.

That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar when his parents asked him to babysit.

I understand that, but the Catalon ad (and the seriouslawyer.com website) certainly leans more towards personal injury lawyers rather than NFL agent.

Ummm, yeah.

The insurance defense firms don’t advertise.

Did you want him in an ad for a criminal defense lawyer or a divorce lawyer, instead?

Oh I don’t care what kind of an ad he’s in. He can jump in some of those sweet Peter Miller ads, or the old lady with the dog in her lap, or anyone else for all I care. Good for the kid making a little money.

How much would Villanova’s Grace Lange have made under NIL? I miss watching her play.

Spaces is some new twitter thing.  I think it’s basically a zoom call through Twitter.  There was one last night with former players, parents, and even Sam Carter jumped in to listen for a little bit.

Reminds me of an old joke about a traveling showman – I won’t do it justice and it wasn’t very funny in the first place –

The charlatan put up signs around town, “on January 31, it’s coming!  Get your tickets!”

“It’s coming!!!”

“It’s coming!!!”

Everyone bought their tickets and packed into the theater on January 31.

The curtain opened and there was a big sign, “IT’S GONE.”

(Woopig spin on it:  he was right but things changed.)

I truly hope this is huge news and not some Jeff Long type shenanigans - big news that ends up being a Hugo Bezdek reenactment or promising the greatest entrance in college football and it being the front facing Hog on a cattle gate.

He was similarly hyperbolic about the Grant Morgan NIL announcement.  If it's sponsored by the Howard Realty Group it can't be that major (also, I'm not allowed within like 50 yards of any school).

However, the more NIL the better - not complaining.
