I'm not getting Dark Mode either. I'm using Chrome on Windows. I have never used Edge so opened it and logged in I don't get Dark Mode.

I know that's fucked up, but some of the buttons are custom code that I wrote myself, so they need to be custom edited beyond CSS. You still know what they are though, so it's usable. It'll take a few weeks as I get time to mess with it.

So far only thing that twinged me a bit is that the text color when creating a new thread or replying is so dark it is difficult for me to read...

Working. The default font color in the mutiline textbox for posting is dark grey against a black bg.

It's very nice, right? The idea occurred to me when Apple did dark mode for all the apps, which I loved. My idea was to try to find out if you had your OS in dark mode and see if we could change the theme automatically, but that's insanely hard. SteveJ came up with this idea, which is much, much easier to do on SMF.

And I was on theme 4 or whatever because I got stuck on that janky ass mobile theme and just needed to get away from that.

I know how to fix the theme. I was mostly a tapatalk user until acater fucked everything up with his search stuff. So I just picked a theme and rolled with it. I do prefer dark theme on most apps so thanks for taking a shot at it.

I was telling my good friend HRW that Tapatalk is most likely gone forever, unless SteveJ wants it back. I installed it on woopig years ago, and I wish I hadn't, and I won't be re-installing it myself. I understand the benefit of the mobile app, but it tends to break a lot of things and slow woopig down.

This dark theme is going to be awesome. I don't think I'll use regular woopig 5 anymore.

Also, anyone can try dark theme now, but I'm planning to only use these 6 assholes for feedback, since they volunteered.

Tapatalk was only a good fit for extremely high IQ folks like RickB, HRW, and me.

We will adapt just fine without it.
