Anderson was suddenly fired on June 8, about a month after the performance review.

So, I'll say it...

Not buying it.

That's the antithesis of everything I've ever heard or seen regarding him.

A few things immediately stand out while looking at this guy's career chronology. First....this was his first big job. Prior to that it was mainly shit show after shit show small college. Him getting fired late certainly didn't help his chances for career ascension, but based on his career thus far...East Carolina aint bad. Second....don't drive a wedge between the head coach and one or many of his players (If that's true). If Anderson wanted someone off the team I got a feeling they would be off the team. You don't try shit as the head coach. You do. Third...if you got baggage I'm sorry but your ass is like a 3rd or 4th coach on the bench. You are subject to getting run oft or reassigned. I'm only a pretend woopig lawyer but I don't see much of a case here. Lawhawg will come around after a while and tell us how this guy is going to end up owning St. Johns.

Given that it was a "pandemic year" with free passes I think a lot of programs saw a number of transfers. If it happens again then I would get concerned that Anderson isn't winning hearts and minds. Based on his staff hiring it appears he's got his "Missouri mafia" with him along with some dudes that know the territory in New York. I'll hazard a guess this guy was on staff to get on recruiting...you know in June.

Jeff Long would have fired him and hired John Pelphrey all the while telling us that winning isn't everything.

I am not claiming I am right, I am saying I don't get it.

I could coach that game blindfolded and win by 40.

Dixie State is basically a community college in disguise in St. George, Utah. Gonzaga has no business scheduling a basketball game with them.

Their mascot was the Rebels until 2009 because someone told them that it might be racist, and I'll give you two guesses where they borrowed "dixie" and "rebels" from.

Brigham Young and his 55 wives traveled through the St. George area and called it "Utah's dixie."

(It is one of the most beautiful towns I have ever seen).

I’ve never been to Utah, and I never realized it has palm trees.

Miles College was leading Kentucky at the half.

Watching highlights and Memphis's home floor is an abomination. It's atrocious. It's like Boise translated to a basketball court, except bluer and worse.

Villanova and UCLA in overtime right now.

My God, the UCLA cheerleaders .  .  .  then the camera goes to the UCLA coeds in the crowd and once again,  . . . OMG.

Don't be so gloomy. After all it's not that awful. Like the fellow says, in Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 years of democracy and peace - and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock.

I'm not even going to lie, I can't stand Missouri.

As much as I love Florida's collapse I hope they can get it done against Mizzou after South Carolina fell short this weekend and then we can screw them out of a shot at a bowl.

Their basketball program is in disarray.

They got way too uppity after joining the SEC, it's going to be hilarious watching them suck for the next several years in both major sports. Drinkwitz isn't taking them anywhere.
