Does the NFL draft long snappers?

If not, has anyone told him that?

two were picked this past draft.  pro football focus has him as one of the top long snappers in the country.

I doubt they do. If I remember correctly we have a highly rated long snapper recruit either from this year’s class or the last one.

My guess on Loggains is he's kind of the defacto run-game coordinator without the title. Also a lot of his QBs in the pros were running QBs (for their life) so there's that. He provides a unique prospective and more credibility than most TE coaches would through out the country. That doesn't make him good at coaching but there have been a good many pro coaches that sucked and end up being pretty decent in college. To his credit I think over the course of the year our TEs did get better especially when Knox was brought over. That seemed to light a fire under Mr. Charmin. Our recruiting on paper has certainly kicked it up a notch as well. If/when Briles leaves it wouldn't surprise me to see Guyton become the OC over Loggains simply because he would have that instant credibility with the mobile QBs and so forth.

Hogs are after this LB from Miami (Ohio) who was the MAC defensive player of the year and a third-team All American.

We had a guy long snap for about a decade for the Packers in the last decade or 2.

I forget what the minimums and time bumps were at the time but that is at least a couple mil for a 10 year period.

People that aren't getting drafted might say "entering the draft" because I don't think you can be signed without passing through draft eligibility.

Brett Goode earned over $5 million as a long snapper. Not a bad deal.

"If" years from now Pittman turns out to be more like Nutt then this will absolutely be used against him.

He also made the team dress up in suits and have their picture made.

I think a lot of it is for brand / recruiting. Or he actually gives a shit about bowls

Totally ok with this, especially after winning four trophy games in one season.  Give the kids something to remember it by.  It's all building blocks towards something bigger.  Now if we're in year 7 and dishing out rings for the Weedeater Bowl that's a different story.

Pittman is no Nutt who above all wants his ass kissed. Fans should bow down and be grateful they got him as their coach after all.

I'll never forget him essentially calling clan fans ingrates for being meh about the cotton bowl. At the time, it was on par with the liberty bowl. "FIFTY years. FIFTY!"

I find Briles’ play calling as baffling at times.  But it is true that people here (and everywhere) have bitched about the play calling by every single OC we have ever had, with the possible exception of Petrino, who was his own OC.

Damn Bobby Petrino!!!  What the Hell was he thinking?
