Not sure what it is about our program that creates such enmity in some opposing coaches and cause them to go all Groundskeeper Willie from The Simpsons.

We do seem to get good TV slots as soon as we get kind of good, I dunno.

The Twitters were saying this morning it was +6.5, but the new Oaklawn Sports App doesn’t have a line on our game yet.

Sam's got it going in the right direction!

I've seen +2 to +2.5 today.

Don't look now, but after three games, your Arkansas Razorbacks lead the nation in sacks.

Hopefully we add about 12 more this week.

Could’ve just ended your sentence there.

It’s beyond me how we have the worst band in the conference.
I am 63.  The band has been the suck since my earliest recollection.  I believe it should be disbanded in favor of a jukebox, dogs playing frisbee, pop Warner football games, and lady hog volleyball games.  They should be ashamed to get on the field with the Aggy band.

pop Warner football games,

With a crowd of 70,000, this could be hilarious.

They need to convince AJ Green to switch to defensive back.

That's a great idea. Fast guy but can't see a hole if Moses or Jenna Jameson opened it for him.

I said it in another thread (or maybe this one, hell if I know) that Green might be the odd man out in our backfield rotation when/if Johnson comes back and is mentally over his injury.

Johnson was our hardest most physical runner last year, Sanders has made the most of his opportunity as feature back this year, and Dubinion has been impressive in his limited carries.

Meanwhile Green’s vision is still not great, and he has trouble finding the hole and getting yards after first contact, which is something that Sanders and Johnson excel at. He also makes some dumb decisions at times on KO returns, though I’ll give him a pass on those when/if he’s told by Fountain to bring it out.

He feels like the opposite of Rocket in that he might be a guy who needs to explore a position change from tailback to receiver. I did win a few Biletnikoffs with converted backs on NCAA 11 so Pittman would be wise to heed my advice.

We need to do something in the defensive backfield but that isn't something you necessarily do during the season and Green is good enough to go be a starter at RB at lot of other schools. It's hard to judge a kid off 3 or 4 opportunities per game. Pittman keeps saying he's running harder than he ever has so I have to think it's a matter of time for him to rip one off. He may not be a fit for our run blocking scheme which is much closer to the Alex Collins jump cut years.

We also have Hunt that hasn't seen the field that could also be someone to move for depth.

ou and texass wanted him as a db. some the other big schools said he would get a shot at rb, but he was being recruiting as a db.

he committed quickly because pittman told him he would be a running back.  that's what was being said at the time by the recruiting guys.

Pittman didn't come right out and say it in the postgame the other night, but he seemed to be sure that Johnson will play against A&M.  It makes sense Green could be the odd man out because Dubinion brings vision and more explosiveness, which will no doubt prove more critical against SEC defenses.

Pittman had said he was happy with Green's workload after the SC game, but that could've changed.  He does seem a little frustrated that Green apparently hasn't felt mentally ready to play.   He has been medically cleared.

Would like to see Green on the other side, and keep giving him KR duty.

Fast guy, but can't see a hole if Moses or Jenna Jameson opened it for him.

Given his running style, I’m concerned that Johnson might not be mentally over his knee injury. Here’s hoping that doesn’t affect his performance when he comes back.

I’m not sure how you work a guy in who hasn’t been getting much work with the schedule we have coming up.  I guess we’ll see.  Rocket busts out big runs pretty regularly.  Hard to take away carries from him when he is liable to bust a 30 harder at any given time.

I don't think Johnson takes Rocket's carries. He's done too well as our feature back this year.

I think he takes Green's.

EDIT -- I agree with you that the A&M game isn't an optimal time to work in a player back from a knee injury. Ideally he would've worked into the rotation against SC or Mo. State but it didn't happen. We've got a brutal stretch coming up of A&M, Bama, @State, @BYU, and @Auburn before we get Liberty at home, who took Wake Forest to the wire this weekend and is no slouch.

Green has only carried it 14 times so I’m not sure how that’s a large enough sample size to already be taking away touches. He’s also a good receiver and one of the fastest players on the team.

Dubinion is almost the same guy, but with better vision.   Green has his moments, don’t get me wrong.   Johnson just deserves a look.  He may not see more than a handful of plays.

Speaking of taking PT away from a player, I'm ready to give the punting duties back to Bauer.

Fletcher averages 37 yards a punt, and has a long of 50. I get that the sample size (12 punts) isn't huge, but he needs to get better. For comparison's sake, Bauer averaged 43.3 yards a punt last year.
