eli went to ole miss because of what cutcliffe did with peyton. i'm not going to say money had nothing to do with the kid's decision, but maybe the family values a guy that can develop a qb even if they aren't all that great as a head coach.

I'm sure there's some NIL riches there somehow but how about we celebrate a kid who handled his recruiting with class and didn't participate in all the bullshit we usually see. Pretty refreshing if you ask me although he and his family are clearly outliers in this situation.

I'm not so sure little Archie is the best high school qb in the history of the game evar.

His tape looks just about any other 4 or 5 star QB. Certainly a great prospect, but I think its all about his pedigree name.

Not fair to the kid, he has a lot of hype to live up to.

it's the upcoming tv contracts. schools cannot afford to get stuck in a bad situation when there's an option to go somewhere else and get paid.

not sure too many kids from the that part of the country are getting recruited by usc and ucla as it is. the really good ones for sure, but i doubt it will lead to a bunch of 3 stars from wisconsin getting offers.

if anything, this should help both of those schools stop the bleeding of highly ranked recruits leaving cali because they will be playing in a much better conference.

So if ~~THE~~ Big 10 (apologies to OSU for copyright infringement) adds more than 16, the SEC will do the same. Please don’t let us go after any Pac12 schools. I assume the ACC will be next to start getting poached. We possibly go after some combination of NC, VA,FL schools?

Aren't the ACC television contracts terrible? I could see someone in the ACC getting antsy and decides to hit the eject button for the SEC and the bigger pay day.

Could be the end of the NCAA when it comes to football. 18 team Super SEC and 18 team Super Big 10 send their top 4-6 teams to play in the National Championship Playoff. Everyone else is shit out of luck.
