DuckDuckGo issue
« on: March 03, 2022, 09:50:52 AM »
Within the last week or so when using DDG mobile, I’m unable to reply/start a topic etc etc. Basically all I can do is read the board and nothing else.
When I try to do anything, this is what I get…

Is this on a phone or computer?

Might try to delete your cookies. That may wipe out password and shit. You got told.

I’m on mobile, really don’t feel like deleting everything. Got too many passwords for all the porn sites I frequent.

I tried that. No change

You know there’s about a gazillion free porn videos right?

I have an iPhone and I still have the issue where linked YouTube videos in posts wont show up.  Its just a big black space in the post.

If I clear my entire history in Safari then the videos will show up.  After clicking through a few threads the videos will stop showing again and I have to do the clear history process again.

I don't look at porn on my phone and I visit a handful of legit sites (amazon, youtube, etc).

It all started after the Iphone software update a few months back.  I can't believe I'm the only one who has this issue but it sucks to have to clear my history every time I want to see the YouTube video someone posted.

My iPad automatically updated this week. I can’t see YouTube videos in posts either. I was going to see if there was a way to clear my cookies without losing my passwords, but if it didn’t work for you I probably won’t.

I gather development for SMF forums is rather sparse at best. When you google information on smf it gives you crap from several years ago.

From what I've seen the problem occurs on Tapatalk, as well as multiple web browsers and on multiple operating systems so to me that kinda narrows it down to server side.

I don't know how those smf plug-ins work exactly...could it be they aren't resolving on the networking side fast enough and it's timing out? They have to link back to the social media platforms somehow so it could be some kind of network issue.

Here we are again and YouTube posts are not showing.

I down loaded both Chrome and Firefox. Works fine on this browsers.

This is 100% a safari issue.

Just got on chrome on my iPad and everything is working as well. Definitely a safari issue.

It isn’t just Safari. It’s doing it on Firefox now.  So damn aggravating.
