Did you just start a 2022 high school football thread just to post PA’s schedule?

I see that you have made three spelling mistakes.   -Thomas de Mahy, Marquis de Favras, upon reading his death warrant.

Well, while we're at it . . .

Former Razorback Rod Stinson has stepped down as Pine Bluff's head coach to take an assistant coaching job in Marion.  Stinson was 10-19 in three seasons at Pine Bluff.

Stinson resigns, heads to Marion

I sure wish they could find the right guy to get them back on track.  You know there is a ton of DI talent around there being wasted.

School district is under state control and the student population at PBHS has shrunk to the point that they are closing the high school and moving the students to the buildings at Robey Jr. High.

There’s not much of anything left there.

So we are a program run by fucking idiots for fucking idiots- razor5396 12/4/2018

Had no idea they had merged Dollarway and Pine Bluff into one district.

Rogers Heritage Coach Steve Hookfin has resigned his position effective a the end of the school year, Rogers Public Schools AD Kieth Kilgore reported Tuesday.

Hookfin will remain with the district next year is a capacity to be determined, Kilgore said.  A search for his replacement will begin immediately, but there's no specific time table to hire a new head coach, Kilgore added.

The War Eagles won one game in seasons under Hoofkin and have lost 39 consecutive conference games.  Heritage's last league game was a 29-28 overtime victory over Van Buren on October 6, 2017.  Heritage has won three games in the past eight seasons.

Hoofkin, a former standout running back at Ohio University and an Arkadelphis native, was hired in March, 2019 after guiding Haywood High School in Brownsville, Tenn. to the class 4A state Championship game and semifinals in four seasons.

I assume you meant last league win rather than last league game.

Yes.

The Heritage head coaching position is a career killer.
I can't imagine anyone applying for this job.

Unlike the head basketball coach at Omaha High School, who is an actual killer . . .

Now is the time to prove if it is the system or just having better talent, Kevin Kelly come on down.

Of course, some kids would transfer there to play for him maybe even some from LR whose parents would not mind moving to NWA

Heritage hires Eric Munoz who was the HC at Brookland the last 2 years.

Played for Gus at SHS and was GA for him at ASU and Auburn.

Odd that Hookfin resigned but will stay with the school district in a different capacity.

Hoofkin will be " dean of students" at RHS

Wish Eric Munoz the best.  He has a huge mountain to climb.

Sounds like Hoofkin decided to get out of coaching and into administration.

My youngest son is in second grade.  The vice principal at his elementary school was formerly the head softball coach at Sheridan High.  She coached the softball team to four state championships in a row from 2016-2019, but left that position to go into administration.

Good for him. He needs to be at a school where he can get better training and go against better competition. Would have liked to see him at Lake Hamilton, but that's not a bad landing spot for him.

The Chad is testament to the craziness of the good old boy system.  This guy milked out job after job when it had clearly become evident that he wasn't worth a sweaty locker room towel as a coach.

He's a failure and I hope his reputation as the worst coach in football stays prominent for decades.

I was hoping it was related to some hellacious ass cancer or something similar but the Twatters said he had an opportunity to return to a college job. I guess NW Missouri school for the deaf and blind had a water boy hydration specialist position open. Not sure he’s even qualified for that position.

Sucks for Allen, not that i care about Allen, because apparently he spent all spring installing (30%) a new offensive system then leaves. The guy is a cancer to any organization. Fuck him with an oversized, rusty spork.
