Central Michigan pitcher getting squeezed badly.   Two walks, a sac bunt and a sac fly gives the Gayturds a 6-5 lead going to the bottom of the 9th.   In front of about 50 home fans.  Not exaggerating.  They are such a disgrace. 

Looks like they may eke out of the losers bracket, to most likely get drubbed by BlowU again.


Fun fact:  CMU has 29 hits in the regional and 28 have been singles.   Uncanny.

Buick won apparently. Every game of the girls softball was televised on the family of ESPN options.  Every year the mens has been televised through the ESPN options. Not this year though.

This is simply not true. The regional portion of the softball tournament had several games that were streaming only, just like the baseball regionals. When it gets to the Super Regionals and World Series in both softball and baseball, all of those games are broadcasted on the family of networks.

You could stream all the softball games through the ESPN app.  None of the games were on ESPN+ which requires an additional subscription.  Men's college baseball has never been on the ESPN+ platform.

You guys are 100% right.  I watched a lot of the softball tournament but I guess the games that interested me were on the major channels.

That’s all coaching. If I was that coach, those guys wouldn’t see the field for a while, but he is OK with that kind of crap. I think they teach it there.

BTW, I don't know if it's a record or not but there are 10 game 7's today.  5 teams have advanced and the Coral Gables regional is a game behind due to weather (and currently in delay again).  If Arizona wins the first game today (if it's ever played), that would make 11 game 7's.
