For me, Sturgill Simpson but to each his own.  I was just surprised to see the Garth love on Woopig, thought I was on nobville for a second.

Who?

Also wtf is hoggybones the opener. A musical act would be better and more fitting. Seriously Hoggybones?

His band deal is a big deal and very popular.

I also hear the UA is giving him an honorary doctorate.

A bunch of us from #HogTwitter are renting out one of the tents in the lawn across Maple from Lot 44.  Tent #10.  Stop by and say hi. We'll probably have enough booze to share.  :D  I'm providing pulled pork.  We'll likely get there around 2.

If possible, me and the gf will try to swing by and drink some of your beer. I plan to drop my old parents and sister off on stadium drive next to our gate, then go park and walk it back. No need to get in our seats at 5:30.

fuck your feelings

It’s just an opinion.  You going to wear your Garth t-shirt to the concert?

If you like Garth Brooks, you probably love Florida-Georgia Line.

What happens if I like most of Garth, some not, and I have never heard anything from Florida-Georgia Line that I like?

How do I get the billyhog stamp of approval then?

I live in Maryland, so I won't be able to make this show. He was supposed to come to M&T (Ravens Stadium) on this tour, but cancelled due to Covid.

I don't own a Garth shirt, but I would've worn my Wranglers, hat and boots. ;D ;D

But where does Woopig fall on Chris Gaines? Yea or Nay?  :dude1:

That used to be the thing to do at Monkey Island at the Memphis Zoo, watch the monkeys beat off.

Regardless of your level of fandom for Garth, it’s a good thing we’re finally opening up RRS for events. It’ll help with recruiting. I’d love to see some A list comedians perform there. Keep this shit going.

Sounds good, my friend.  Hope to see you and the crazy one there.

Yeah, I was going to say, that I think some excitement stems from the fact that a major concert will be held in RRS for the first time, minus those WalMart shareholder events.

That's about 90% of it for me.  My fandom level is very low, but I know the songs because my parents listened to country music in the 80s and 90s.  I'm going mostly for the party and the spectacle of a huge show in RRS.  I can't imagine anyone not having fun there.

Kevin Hart and Louis CK come to mind, but I think CK was at Madison Square Garden (arena, not a stadium). Kevin Hart performed at the Miami Dolphins stadium I think.

I can take or leave Garth, but comparing him to Fla-Ga Line is like comparing Nick Saban to Chad Morris, if Chad Morris was a billion times worse than his record here indicated.  Or maybe like comparing Jesus to Hitler, if Hitler had killed every single person on earth twice.

Come on man.  Fla-Ga Line is not Chad Morris bad.  NOTHING is Chad Morris bad.   :morris:

Yes, they are that bad.

I'd rather listen to Texass Fight on a twenty-four hour loop than the first verse of the best of their "songs" one time.

Yea, it was a little bit of a stretch.

Country music makes me want to kiss my pickup truck. I am a classic rock guy myself. If it doesn’t make me sweat, I don’t need to hear it.
