What has surprised me the most this season is we haven’t had very many “big” innings where we put up a bunch of runs. We simply have not been hitting very well. Hot take I know.

This team hasn't been able to get clutch hits. We've blown a ton of scoring opportunities. Right now our two best players (Wallace and Moore) are in a slump. We don't have the hitters behind them to pick up the slack. Hope like hell we peak late.

That's generally because every single guy tries to hit a home run every time. Except maybe Turner, and oddly enough he has the highest average on the team. Not sure how that works.

The rare times we get more than one guy on base, the next guy pops up or whiffs on a massive uppercut swing.
