I watched the A&M Vandy game last night, and A&M took the first pitch on their first 17 batters. The Vandy broadcast crew was saying how impressed they were with that disciplined approach because they were driving up pitch counts. Meanwhile we back at the first thing we see and have way too many sub-10 pitch innings at the plate.

We fucked up in the first few innings and wasted a lot of base runners. Double plays, stupid base running, and such caused us to screw ourselves. We shot ourselves in the foot too many times after getting on base.
