Since the Bruins have too many weak spots, I’m not overly optimistic and due to being matched against a team that totally had their number all season.  Game 1 was certainly no different. 

My backup plan is to support my local club.  Hopefully the Panthers can overcome the Presidents Trophy jinx.  People are actually somewhat engaged around here, for a change.

Of course they are.  It's been the theme of the entire playoffs.

The average margin of victory in the first 28 games is 3.3 goals. 

In the last 12 complete games, the winning team has scored at least 4 goals with the closest margin being 2.

There have been a total of 4 games decided by one goal, and only two have gone to overtime.

All of these numbers are just unheard of.
