Wow.  They’ve found some life.

Then Nathan MacKinnon happened.  Wow on steroids.

That was absolutely insane.

Yep. We called it here that the Blues would win after tying it so late.

Have to admit I didn't watch.  Checked in after our game and saw it was 2-0 Avs in the 1st.  Figured it wasn't my day for sports.

I'm a bad fan.

The second period of Edmonton versus Calgary was about as exciting a hockey period as you will ever see. 4 goals in 1:10 was an NHL playoff record. And it was back and forth, alternating.
2-2
3-2
3-3
4-3
4-4

Good stuff.

And now a Calgary go-ahead goal taken away by a video review that it was kicked in. Great game going on.

Well that was a nut punch with 5 seconds left. Like a misplayed pop fly.

Heck of a series.

Avs and Oilers will also be fierce.

So love the playoffs.

They just ran into a buzzsaw.   The Rangers have caught fire at the right time.

I will definitely be rooting for the Western Conference from here.  No way I can stand to watch Tampa lift the Cup yet again and I hate the Rangers to the core.

Slight lean to Colorado but would be fine with Edmonton.

this is game is nuts.

goal - then look up - bang another goal 2x now.

literally less than 30 seconds after the previous goal both times

Yeah it’s like an All-Star game.

Colorado is defining what it means to answer.   They scored 36 seconds and 9 seconds after Oiler goals.

First team to 10 wins.

6-3 in the 2nd.  Normally 6 goals in 26:20 would be a goalie pull. But who knows in this game and the playoffs.

My son went upstairs to put some things away in his room when it was 5-3 and I said don’t be surprised if it’s 7-5 when you come back.

If they can cash in this PP…

7-3 to 7-6.

Final 8-6 on an empty netter after Edmonton had a lot of chances.

What a hockey game.

If there had been more rough stuff and bad blood, it could have been a game from the 80's, with that type of scoring.

Tickets just for Wednesday’s game are 500 bucks…next week nothing less than 900

Once in Yamsylvania, we had the potato famine. Which did not upset us because, hey, we eat only yams! Then we realized it is better to starve on potatoes than eat yams. We became so poor we had to raise monkeys for their fur. OK, we raised them for their pleasant smell and many tasty parasites. The kids today, tell them about parasite stew, and they look at you like you're some kind of nutty man, crazed from yam poisoning.

I was in Nashville for a conference a few years ago when they were in the Finals.  Attending a Finals is on the bucket list but down the list.  For a team that wasn’t mine, I didn’t justify $800 for nosebleeds back then.

It’s crazy and prices don’t drop even right at game time.

ive had friends throughout the series get decent tickets last minute right before the game but overall it’s $230 for nosebleed. I might go Wednesday

And the Rangers looked to have the Eastern Conference finals well in hand.
