Yes I realize that it is a campus thing and sort of the joke because Long was blamed and still is blamed for the switch to Pepsi.

Not when it come to syrup, that's Pepsi.

Ozarks can sell cans and 20oz bottles all damn day but fountain drink syrup comes from Pepsi. It is a very convoluted situation.

I grew up in Little Rock but had family in NWA and when we went up to visit in the 80s I was infatuated with Pibb.  We only had Dr Pepper in the Rock.

I wonder if HY had at least some say. Pretty apparent that coke products are more popular than Pepsi ones, surely thats a consideration in getting revenue from games. And he is vice chancellor after all.

At any rate, Pepsi is a second choice thus a sign of weakness. Good riddance and about time.
