The Astros hit 5 home runs in ONE INNING tonight. Scored 9 runs in the second. Against TRS's and my lovely wife's Red Sox.

I clicked on Drew Smily’s link on ESPN just to see how career stats and I started digging. The dude has made about 55 million in 9 years, and he has a career record of 47-43 with an ERA over 4.1. Wow. Baseball is so weird now. Clean up batters hitting .200.

"I hate you Acater!"- Otis Kirk

"Grant couldn't practice, we put a green shirt on him, he kept trying to put the red on but 'no no no, we're not gunna touch you' Then he goes out and has that game. He's out there holding his elbow and goes and picks off a pass to win. He is Arkansas." - Pittman

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.  Next, you're going to tell me that people are born gay.

If you tie your kids right hand behind their back, I don't think that would make them gay.

Boone and Judge crying. I guess they want a LL field like they have in NY?

Yankee Stadium is the Lindsey Nelson Stadium of MLB in terms of field dimensions.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.  Enjoy it while it lasts.  Which in the case of the Suck that is Red this year, could be awhile.

Maybe if they jerk off their boyfriend with their left, it would.

The 2022 MLB thread not starting until May 17 doesn't exactly indicate rousing interest.

My thoughts exactly.  I'm like, where's the MLB thread for 2022??

Yeah, when I post it's usually in the Benintendi thread.

And he's cooling off from his torrid start.

But mostly, it's NHL Playoff season, so baseball is on the back burner.

I’m a Yankee fan, but that was embarrassing on the part of Judge and Boone, especially after they got butthurt just two weeks ago about Chris Woodward’s “little league park” shot at Yankee Stadium after Gleyber hit the walkoff that barely cleared the short porch in right.

So you hit a double instead of a homer because the park dimensions are weird. So TF what. Ever heard of the Polo Grounds? It was nearly 500 feet to straightaway center field.

To top it off, O's win on a walkoff HR last night. It was hit to left field. hahahaha

Umpiring isn't that hard
https://twitter.com/BadSportsRefs/status/1535076539771269121?t=VRbb1R3NvIOmb8W-ZYV-nA&s=09

wow. usually it's the other way in calling something that isn't a strike but rare is the strike that is called a ball (but there are cases involving a time limit where that happens but that's travel ball, MLB has no time limit.)

guess who's suing MLB again and thus will be working too many playoff and World Series games??

https://twitter.com/Deadspin/status/1535011744673779712?s=20&t=vgWdWpt8ZEaz8CVlQZ_eLw

usually those guys have seen so many pitches at that point it's just auto-pilot automatic strike. wow.

Bryce Harper's gonna have some trouble with that thumb.  Took a hit from a pitcher.  The call of the night from Michael Bourn of the Phillies radio network.

That's embarrassing.  Looks like Josh Duggar when his parents asked him to babysit.

Fletcher is having a really nice season in AAA. Hitting around .330.
