no. I still use it and have since 2001. The thing is every resume format is different depending on the industry.

So much truth in this.^^^^^

That is awesome and good luck!

Thanks.  I'm planning to check out those docs here in a few minutes when I take my first bite of the day...

Objective? Or is that outdated? I've used the same resume format since 2001. Still works like a charm.

I'll check these out asap, thanks!  I already had a lot to do today but I woke up this morning to an email attempting to schedule a third interview with a company I'm really interested in.  It's been awhile and I had basically given up, but now I'm gonna double down and refocus my efforts in that direction.

That is awesome and good luck!

Good luck; but, I don't think Popeye's is that picky.

After 10 seconds I gave up on trying to figure out how to PM you an attachment.  So I'll attach it here.

I stripped out the obvious personal information but this is my format.

Edit: My wife has an engineering degree and works as an engineer and her resume is formatted a bit different.

I wouldn’t worry about the length. If you have a good history that isn’t filled with buzzwords and bullshit then the length becomes less of an issue. My resume is a little over two pages.

I would also move the education down to the bottom. I assume you're applying for engineering jobs.  They already know you have an engineering degree. Let them get right into your experience which is what’s going to get you the job.

If you would like I can send you my resume just for comparison. Sometimes it’s nice to see what others do even if it’s only to get ideas for fonts and structure.

I like the relocating education idea.  And yea, I'd love to see it.  I welcome all of the advice I can get.

Objective? Or is that outdated? I've used the same resume format since 2001. Still works like a charm.

This is another one of those things that seems to be highly subjective.  Ultimately I shied away from it because most of the engineering resume examples I looked at didn't use the format.
