After listening to that and not being completely embarrassed, it really made me wish I could still be involved in music somehow, or playing even.

Forget all about that high school aMm and learn how to play guitar.

What's wrong with being in band?  I was a French Horn player almost all through Middle to High school.  I didn't really apply myself to the instrument as I should have, but I still focus on that section if I'm at a concert that has them.

I didn't want to play it, truthfully.  I wanted to play sax because that was the cool guy in all the rock songs with Hall and Oates, Huey Lewis, etc ... but my Mom made me take the French Horn justifying it's coolness in rock with Dan Fogleberg.    Dan Fucking Fogleberg.

Wasn't that the fucking Flugel Horn?

NO, NO!!! Mom had a friend that had a French Horn in the attic for free!!!! The Sax was way to expensive!!!!

I got a clarinet in much the same manner.  I mean, c'mon folks, it's once removed from the flutes!  As soon as I could drop aMm on my own, band was it.  No telling how it would have gone with a sax or some drums.

When I get tired of my vette, I want an xke.   I'm not sure if they even have a radio.

When I get tired of my Maserati, I want a VW Golf.  Don't care if it has a radio.

In process.  The problem is just finding the time. But I actually really enjoy the Rocksmith program for Xbox.  Makes it pretty fun.  I know how to play electric bass...just lost interest over the years.

I don't believe it.  That means you ran a 4.4 when you were 43?

First of all, it was 4.9! And secondly, that was like 2003 or 2004 when 40 yards to Glory occurred.  So I was more like 37 or 38. Geez. 👍😀

play shitty golf but nevertheless enjoy it.
ain't got hardly a hair on my head.
still like to get too drunk and chase women around (sometimes i even catch up to one).
i ain't close to the oldest person in my office (we got some lifers here), but i do get to play boss.
i've found that "acting your age" is pretty well fucking overrated. there will come a time when you've got no choice in the matter.

the opinions that i do not give are the opinions i ain't got.
