Ain't no finer gumbo found in all of Arkansas than the aMm I grew up on in and around Marked Tree.

 :stunned:

A slow moving cold front will push into Arkansas this weekend. Rain will develop along and ahead of the front...with heaviest rain expected over the southeast half of the state. Two to four inches will be common across much of the hydrologic service area...with four to six inches possible south and east of the I-30/Hwy 67 corridor.

Given this much rain...flash flooding and river flooding will be a concern. Area rivers and streams in the Ouachita...lower Arkansas...and lower White river basin will be the most threatened during this event...with minor to moderate flooding possible.

Emergency managers...media...and all people living in or visiting the area should pay close attention to updated forecasts for the possiblity of heavy rainfall and flooding. Remember...driving into flooded areas can be fatal.

There's at least 50,000 of them in Austin.

1000s of snow geese flying over Boston Mountains today headed for the delta.  Somethings on it's way.  Everybody is over busting on the Texican for the "Petrino to Texas" thread and doesn't recognize impending doom.  I'll have all the region's vienna sausage in my pantry before they realize it.

Yea well the geese gotta go somewhere. It's kinda hard flying around in that 150mph wind out W/NW.

That's the second huge flight. First was with the nw wind Thanksgiving Weekend

Oh and here you go:

Here's your detailed forecast for an interesting next 4 days to say the least. Tonight, a few isolated showers possible & clouds will remain. A BIG weather system moves in on Saturday. You can expect mild & cloudy weather Sat morning w/ highs eventually reaching near 60 by early Sat afternoon. Then the rain moves in as a VERY STRONG COLD FRONT approaches the area. Rain develops by Sat late afterno...on & continues into early Sun. The temp will be in the low 50s early Sun morning, but expect a sharp temp drop during the day Sunday eventually hitting the mid 30s by Sunday night. With the cold air in place, another weather system pushes in from the WSW & it looks to bring a wintry mix over the area. The details still need to be ironed out, but you can expect winter weather to affect NE OK by late Sunday night. For NWA, it appears our wintry precip won't get going until early Mon AM & could last until Tues early morning. This is NOT AN ICE STORM SETUP, instead expect a cold rain, changing to sleet & snow then eventually all snow by Mon morning. How much snow you ask? 2 to 4" is not out of the question, but accum totals will be refined in later forecasts. At this point the River Valley looks to be too far south to get a major impact from this storm. Stay Tuned for later updates!
