Ole Miss has 3 players out of the top 30 committed. None in the top 10.

Only 3 players remain undecided including the #1 recruit WR Patrick Patterson.

Bang up job.

When you're a big time coach like Colonel Reb you recruit nationally.  Signing kids in your home state is for loser programs like Miss St and Southern Miss.  Besides, with all the Florida kids calling him after beating UF he can be more of a "selector" than a "recruiter".

Ole Miss has a higher star ranking than Arkansas per Scout (though coming in ranked below us, 21 to 26, because of fewer commits for now)
But Arkansas is killing Ole Miss per Rivals, both in average stars and ranking (17 to 49). How is there such a big discrepancy between the sites?

I'm no expert, but from what I've seen Scout is completely useless.  They consistently have players' positions wrong, fail to update rankings (i.e., continue to have guys with no eval even after they've been offered by several programs), etc.

I would just ignore them.

I think whats even more important is that MSU has 13 of the Top 30 in the state.  That is a beatdown of epic proportions for a Cotton Bowl winning team who supposedly should have won the National Championship.

Ole Hooter has the smallest recruiting class I have ever seen for a BCS school.  Over half that class is listed at less than 200 pounds, and I bet the average height might be around 6' even or so.  I think it is hilarious.  Somebody posted the average heights of every SEC recruiting class on Rivals the other day.  I dont remember Ole Piss, but they were last.  We were second with Bama edging us out.  You know half of those fricks they are signing at 170 pounds will end up being DE's and LB's along with a couple 180 pound safeties that failed to grow into a 195 pound OLB.  WTF is that?  Scout having them above top 40 completely obliterates any hope for credibility they never had anyway.  I think it is hard to appreciate just how bad that class actually is.  They might as well save the scholarships.

apperently they have a 5 star juco CB (on Scout) that was promised by hootie a shot at RB , rivals has him listed as a 3star athlete knowing he'll play RB at the D1 level
Probably won't matter at all, since rumors are he is decomitting soon to go to Auburn
